Gypsy (the large black and white one) is my 14 year old black/lab collie mix. William brought her home when he was in high school. It seems that a friend of his got the dog as a birthday present for her boyfriend except the boyfriend didn't want a dog. Gypsy had been passed from friend to friend...thus her name. I agreed to take her in and it was the best thing I ever did. She is a wonderful dog!

Four years ago I got a Newfoundland puppy and named her Raven...thus my DU name. She died last year in her sleep at the foot of my bed. Almost a year has gone by and I wanted another dog so I researched and found the little one up in Maine. I named her "Tinker" which is the Irish word for Gypsy. This is one smart, gentle, wonderful puppy! She and Gypsy have fallen in love with eachother. Tinker follows Gypsy everywhere and even my two cats tolerate her.

When I finally figure out how to do it, I will post some pics of where I am and you will see that it is heaven for animals...and for me!

12. I have two cats.

They spend their days stalking little critters in the woods so that they can arrive at my door at night with little presents! Around the puppy they don't stand still long enough to pose for a pic!
