Poll question: Do You Prefer Action Movies With Guns Or Swords?

For instance, does the shoot-em-up style of the Matrix pretty much live up to what you think an action movie should be.

Or are you more into the bow-and-arrow, swordfighting of say, Lord of the Rings?

Me, I'm going with the swordplay.

I watched Last Samuri a few weeks ago and just loved how the samuri used their beautiful swords in battle. Then near the end when they were all mowed down by machine guns I winced.

I hate guns, period, and especially in movies. I find it hard to root for any so-called "good guy" who uses a gun.

Give me a sword. A bow and arrow. Hell, I'll even take a knife or a 2x4 (hello Rock).

1. I'm conflicted.

I absolutely love films with swordfighting, but I also dig Westerns (dark Westerns, at least). But I have to go with the sword. Two words: Kill Bill.
