I went with a humorous one.
On the front it says "It's fathers' Day!!! I got you a card!!!"...then on the inside it says "This is the inside of it!!"

We lost our dad in 91 in a car accident. He was head on'ed by a vet in a pick up on the wrong side of a country road.
