Spent most of last night planting campaign signs.

Thanks to everyone who honked and waved and used fingers to indicate which direction was up (I wasn't sure).

Regardless, the signs are mounted on two skinny metal poles that stick in to the ground. They're so small you can't use gloves.

My hands are a mass of sores and blisters.

That reminds me, need to phone the campaign office and have them make up some more for me to plant tonight.

Aloe is the best cure on the planet for burns. Vitamin E oil will help as well.

4. You're Number One!

Don't you love it when people re-affirm that in response to your campaign signs and bumperstickers? I get that every election day when I'm out on a corner with my signs...there's always lots of teenage boys and ugly fat old white guys with fish on their cars who need to tell me I'm Number One!

I'm taping my signs inside my front windows this year to keep asswipes from stealing them. We'll see if the Vandals for Repubes break my windows...
