I help as much as i can but he is breast feeding every 2.5 hrs

& my milk hasn't come in yet LOL :)

6. oh I remember those endless breast feeding sessions

when day is night and night is day. There is no higher form of tiredness. Just hang in there, I'm sure the little one will sleep soon. That first all night's sleep ( like 5 hours) is always a great revelation! :)

7. Just a thought

Perhaps she could pump some breast milk and you could feed the baby with a bottle once in awhile. She could get the rest she obviously needs and you can enjoy a bonding experience.

we have to wait until a month has passed so he is bonded to "the Nipple"

Or he will choose the ease of milk flow from the bottle Nipple over the real thing.

12. It does take practice

And gets easier as kiddos get older, as well. Propped up in bed with a bunch of pillows is pretty nice, too :D How old is your munchkin? It will almost certainly get easier, if it's been less than 3 months, or so...


On a totally side note, it makes me sad that there are so many people in the US who can't distinguish between breasts being used sexually, and breasts being used to feed a child. (NOT implying you, just ranting on that a bit!)
