I have three less teeth today, than I did at this time yesterday.

Yesterday, at the ripe old age of 47, I finally had my wisdom teeth out. Actually, I only had 3 of them out since the lower left one is being used to anchor a bridge.

I spent most of yesterday in a Vicoden induced haze.

Not much bleeding, didn't even dribble any on my pillow last night.

No swelling. Had a little pain this morning but it's passed.

Sure am hungry, and I limited myself to iced-coffee this morning.

(btw, don't do Vicoden for long. It is an immunosuppressant, and some studies indicate that infection rates climb with increased duration of oxycodone use.)

I had all 4 of mine out about a month before I got out of the service. They didn't put me to sleep. They shot me up all over my jaws with zylocaine. The idiot broke all 4 of them and had to cut the gums and dig out the pieces and stitch me up. My jaws were swollen up like a chipmunk. I was fucking awake and hearing every crunch. Nightmares even today. On top of that you are supposed to get a day off. When I went down to supply headquarters they told me fuck your day off we have work to do get busy.
