4 - Redwoood Park in the middle of town



3 - Historic Square



2 - Did I mention there's a park with HUGE redwoods in the middle of town?



1 - The Hotel Arcata is just too cool...

It looks like a lovely place, actually. I've got half a mind to just get in the car and take off south on I-5, but I've got to bury my husband on Thursday. After all that, who knows? A change of scenery would do me some good.

That is an amazing stretch of road.

I don't think you'll ever find me living outside the Pacific time zone - it's just too gorgeous for words out here in our little corner of paradise.:D
