1. Pork Shoulder Steaks.
Glazed with Maulls bbq sauce.

In Kansas City, this is one of the mandatory bbqing holidays.

2. Burgers and dogs....
with corn on the cob....simple but yummy!

I've opted out any gifts today for concert tickets at The Gorge. Full weekend, no kids!!!!

6. The Dead....
with the Allman Bros opening and Robert Hunter....I love going to the Gorge...as hot as it gets, it's worth it. A little planning, lots of cold beer and everything's a-ok!

4. I usually make that for the 4th of July
Hebrew National hot dogs rule. I like Chicago style hot dogs with onion, relish, tomato, pickles, pepperoncini, and mustard. I cannot find poppy seed rolls here in Tx though.
