100. Oh, dear heart ... it can be the best of times

My 30s were the happiest and most satisfying years of my life. Honest. And yes, I was mega depressed too at just the thought of hitting 30. I was a Grad student at the "party-hearty" school SDSU ... and all around all sorts of late teens and early 20 somethings.

However, the great news is that most folks don't slow down physically, or very much in their thirties. It's a wonderful time to just enjoy being yourself and less turned on by superficial goals.

Gee, I wish that I did not waste most of my 30th year feeling depressed because the rest of that decade was beautiful.

Hope you enjoy this upcoming year, and forget the silly age-retarded stereotypes. Trust me, the body does slow down a tad and recovery after aerobics takes significantly longer after in ones 40s.
