Korgo virus.

If I have the latest updates from Microsoft, do I need to go through all the steps of downloading the fixkorgo for the Korgo virus? I was just scanning it and it looked kinda complicated (to a tech tard). Is there any way to know if you have it? Do I need to be worried about this? It does make me kinda afraid about internet banking.
