Sorry, but I think he does a great job on H&C. Hannity is your typical right-winger who blames Clinton for all the problems in the world. Colmes doesn't mess around. He might not be as confrontational as Hannity, but I still think he is a better interviewer, and most of the time is tougher on the guests that he disagrees with.

I hope I haven't started off on the wrong foot. I'm new here, and after hanging out at a conservative website where everybody attacked me for stating my point of view, I am a little nervous about disagreeing with somebody here. But, I like this board a lot. I think I finally found a new home since my old message board has become one partisan, right-wing love fest. If anybody wants to help me defeat the neocons on their own board, I would love to see you over there. My username is leftist and proud, and I need a few more people on my side. He has long been a self-professed Christian (it comes up in his first 'Rants' book), and I have never heard of him being a Jewish-to-Christian convert.

As for him being a fascist, that isn't as recent as people think. Back in 1995, he had actor Michael Douglas on the HBO program to discuss the "death of liberalism", and Miller had a tombstone professing liberalism's demise as the backdrop. He had Douglas on because he is a liberal. I remember Douglas good-naturedly ribbing Miller as being "my favorite fascist in Hollywood". That is the exact quote. This was again, 1995... not 'just after 9-11' or when trying to salvage what was then a serviceable career.

Never heard of Miller being anything but another angry, ignorant, WASP asshole.

Miller has always been just what he is now...there was just a time when he was a wee bit more stealth about it and not quite as vocal..but I could always sense that "little something" under current in his words that gave me pause and set of the right wing alarm bells.
