In a way, I sort of like Ann Coulter. You can always count on her to say the most horrific, obnoxious thing that makes conservatives look bad.

A friend of mine, who happens to be a libertarian leaning Republican, had once been kind of proud to have met and had drinks with Coulter at a libertarian convention. Now he only repeats the story of their meeting for it's freakiness factor. If we didn't have Ann to spew the nastiest, most vile filth of the extreme conservatives, then they might actually get away with more than they already have.
