OMG I had played it for years and it was awesome! Talk about intense! Are you playing team fortress as well? Playing as a sniper was one of the best times I have had with a game. Get good enough and the right spot and you are untouchable! CounterStrike had a hell of a learning curve for me though, but once I got it it was a 4-6 hour a day thing! Thanks for reminding me! Alas I have no broadband in my new home so I have not played in about 2 years.

5. My competive nature does not allow dial-up! |
|
I tried but, after the third or fourth "internet lag" kill of me by a noob I almost destroyed a full 1 block radius of my neighborhood with my rage! "You don't win silver, you lose gold".

2. Just wait till you discover the cheaters... |

Ruins the whole game, but it is an addictive game.. I have refused to put it on my new computer because I know that I would spend too much time playing it.

7. I used to play halflife and a whole lot of its mods until... |
|
steam became manditory.
I really cant stand steam, its like police state type programming.
I prefer to install my own updates and downloads rather than having them done automatically.
I also didnt like the fact that it moved my halflife directory to the "steam" directory when I installed it.

My current drug of choice is either BF42/DC or BFV. But Counterstrike was awesome! I should play it again.
