Good Morning DU!
How is everyone this morning? :donut: I'm pretty good. Worked out with a new trainer yesterday (more lke friggin drill sargent) and surprisingly, I'm not as sore as I thought I would be. I'm on a pretty strict eating regiment for the next few weeks, but I think I can do it (maybe). So how is everyone else this morning? :)

4. It was good.
Went to the airport to buy my ticket. Then, I'm working out with a new trainer and he kicked my ass yesterday. We went bowling. Mr.D came out of his field op yesterday so I stayed up pretty late talking to him and his buddies that were a little inebriated. That was pretty much it.

6. One game.
Michelle kicked my butt in the other 4.

Today. Let's see. Sleep. Need to motivate myself to do laundry but who knows if that will actually happen. And I'll probably start to pack. That's it, nothing exciting. You?

7. Sounds exciting to me

What is your trainer instructing you to do differently then you haven't done before?

But I am not sure what I am going to today. I am seriously questioning my lifestyle and like I have realized before I need to get out. Living here is not good for me both mentally and physically, it's been like that since I was young.

I talked to a wise woman yesturday, she gave me a ton of great advice that I am definately going to use in the long run. She said It'll probaly just go over my head but I really listened. Tomorrow is going to be the first day of the rest of my life, I really want to make something good out of me being here.

15. G'day, Blondie!

New trainer and not too sore after the workout? That's good. Keep it up and you'll be ready for your photo shoot in no time. What was the workout routine?

16. Photo shoot?
 Good to see ya this morning.

HA! That would look real nice (photos), especially yesterday when I was almost in tears. Um, let's see. 10 minutes of stretching and warming up. 15 minutes on the bike. 4 sets of 15 reps of me putting the tips of my feet on the stairs and doing painful up/downs. 100 crunches. 1.5 miles on the treadmill. 2 sets of 15 pushups (ha, now that really hurt). Stairstepper for 2 minutes (yep, dying by this point). Let's not forget wonderful lunges. :eyes: The other two things are hard to describe. Both lying on back. One is my grabbing his ankles while my legs are extended off the floor in front of me, using my abs to kick my feet up while he pushes them back down (and not allowing my lets to hit the ground). I attempted 2 sets of 15. That hurt. The last thing was me lying on my back, legs extended towards the celing, my butt off of the floor. He holds my ankles while I tighten my abs and lift up and down off the floor. (not sure if this makes sense).

So yes, I was sweaty, exhausted, and felt like crying. THEN he tells me no caffeine for a week and tells me what I have to eat. :(

17. I know those ab exercises
In my gym, there're 2 30-min ab workout sessions (wed and fri). The first one you describe is what we call "leg throws," the second one is a variation of "reverse crunch." Those are some of the abs exercises highlighted in the workout magazines to get those washboard abs.

Sounds like about a 60-min workout. I'm not surprised that you're ready to drop like a rock.

18. Was definitely that.
They're not fun. :( I felt pretty pathetic yesterday. This guy trains the football players at University of TN and yeah, he won't let me quit (which is what I need). My abs are sore and my butt is from the bike, but that's pretty much it. All in all, it took about an hour and a half.

So, how do you think I did on my first REAL big day of excercise?

19. For completing a full 90 min with a trainer

90 minutes is a full soccer match, and you picked one of the hardest trainers on the list.

Does this mean we're gonna see you on some event on ESPN2 soon?

20. Yay!
Now I'm excited! :) Actually, I was just proud of the 1.5 miles. Let alone all the other stuff.

ESPN2? Nah, think I'll start off small... like impressing my boyfriend. :D Maybe one of these days I can be up to your statute (probably not, but a girl can hope, right?).

21. You caahn do eet, Watergirl!
My brother recently joined my health club. The lead trainer set him up with a workout program and said that my brother is gonna surpass me.

Now I gotta train more!

PS, my brother is a LITTLE on the heavy side, so I have a headstart on him.

I was ready to take up card tricks again. Thanks for saying I don't have to work harder, and I agree. 6 days is enough.

How often are you training? Probably every other day is enough.

24. Right-o!
Every other day. :) Except this week it will only be two times considering I'm leaving on Thursday. I'm on a different eating pattern than I'm used to, so I'm sure for the next week or so it's going to be hard adjusting. Hopefully I'll be able to go every other day, but if I can't, I'll go at least two times a week.

And you're more than welcome. Thanks for actually taking the time to talk to me about this stuff, it's really helpful and not everyone does that for me. And speaking of cards, I play a mean game of poker! :D

25. My brother is a poker fanatic
He loves playing. The eating plan will be helpful. One of the best things I found was giving up milk and drink water and you'll be on your way.

They don't talk about fitness because they don't know. The fitness magazines do a decent job, once you sift through all of the ads.

26. Awesome!
I don't drink too much milk anyway, so that shouldn't be too hard. Plus, for the last few weeks I've been adding a lot of water to my daily routine so once again, not too bad.

lol the ads. Yeah, there's like 100 out of a 150 page magazine. (okay, so that's an exaggeration!) Gotta head out of here, talk to you in the morning and have a GREAT day!
