He LOOKS okay. Ben Brantley said he looks more like Divine than Harvey Feirstein did. But something is not quite all there, he said. I hope McKean can find a way to own that part, though, or I think the show is doomed without HF.

2. I really wish him well.
But it's so hard to imagine that show without Harvey Feirstein.

3. GO SEE HAIRSPRAY
I went to high school with Kathy Brier and was quite close with her. She is an amazing person, one of the most talented singers in the world and a gifted actress. I wish I had stayed friends with her after highschool. But I have seen her perform twice and it is worth your time and money.

Michael McKeon is pretty funny. Though Harvey was a pretty good name, Brier steals the show. She can carry the show on talent alone. Wait a few years and her name will be enough to carry it too.

4. Which part does she play?
Was she one of the original cast members or a replacement?

5. Kathy is good in the show
She isn't the original Tracy, though. That was Marissa Jaret Winokur. Kathy is quite good, though, and I was surprised to recognize her from some daytime soap opera when she walked out of the theater.

Harvey was unbelievable, as was the rest of the cast. I would really like to see McKean in the role, he is always entertaining.

6. I wouldn't mind. He might be better than Bruce Vilanch in the role.
Bruce is a great comedy writer, but Michael McKean is an actor. :-)
