...I just had an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ask me how to save a document to disk.

We don't get any input on hiring our own subordinates where I work. I understand (and agree with) the purpose behind Affirmative Action, but if ALL qualifications are being waved to fill a certain seat with a certain demographic, it doesn't benefit anyone. We've got admin assistants that are actually slowing up our projects, and I have NO CHOICE but to give them work when I could do it all faster on my own (even with my hunt-and-peck 40 WPM typing speed).

I truly think I'm more entitled to say "arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" today :)

That same admin assistant, about twenty minutes ago, just asked me "how did you make that paper print out sideways?" I asked her if she knew the difference between portrait and landscape, and she just stared at me as if I asked in ancient Greek.
