Anybody see Jupiter near the Moon this evening?

If you can, I'd encourage you to check it out. Jupiter looks like a bright star to the lower left of the Moon.

1. I noticed it while I was floating in the pool but didn't know

what it was. It was definitely bright and beautiful

18. I saw those last year!

And the bands, too. I was pretty amazed, considering it is a 60mm refractor. If you watch long enough, you can see them move! Or make a sketch and come back in 1/2 an hour and make another sketch, then compare them.
Jupiter and saturn are 2 awesome objects.

14. Tonight was observation night at the SWOSU Observatory...

I got to see Jupiter through the telescope...AND four of it's moons.
