Ron Reagan Jr on CNN... "not a republican"...
calls republican party "homophobes", "racists" and he couldnt be part of a party like that. he hasnt officially declared a party, says he didnt vote for GW last time around and this time he will vote for "the most viable canadate that is capapble to unseat George W Bush"

goes on to say stem cell research could be the biggest thing since antibiotics, and to prevent research of it by pandering to 'one of the most ignorant groups in america' is wrong.

im surprised... honestly

1. Wasn;t he completely estranged at one point?
Seems like he was banned from his father's White House, or just given the cold shoulder. I remember watching him in some ballet show, and talking about how embarrassed his father was by him.

He's always been against his father's policies, that I know.

5. I envy you!
I thought Reagan was worse than what we have now. Almost as stupid, just as corrupt, and unlike Bush (in my opinion), a true believer. In what, I'm not sure, but I don't buy the claims that Bush is a religious zealot. Bush is just an irrational child looking for excuses to do what he wants, so he grabs at religion. Reagan was more fanatical, more dangerous.

And you saw what happened when he died. We have a lot of work to do to keep Bush from being treated that way when his liver finally gives out.

2. You're surprised Ron Jr is one of us?
He has been since the early 80's at least. Famously so.

6. He has been a known non-republican since the 80's
He used to write for Playboy back then and would frequently blast Republicans.

The funny thing is, is that he actually got along well with his father, and it was Michael Reagan who was the estranged son. Needless to say Michael is a right wing nut.

Ron rocks!
