How do I do a flash mob?
I'm doing campaign stuff with the kids on the weekend and I've heard flash mobs are the lastest thing (as featured on Doonesbury).

What do I do? Just stand on a street corner and waves signs?

1. You secretly tell a large group of people
to meet in a certain place ahead of time. Then you gather at the preselected time, do the planned activity, and scatter anonymously into the crowd. It is as furtive as possible so passersby don't understand what's happening.

5. Here you go

Sounds a little too complicated to organize for kids though.

4. ive heard about these...
in large cities like NY people gather randomly outside of something and do something really weird... like they once a group of a few hundered went and started bowing before one of the billboards in times square... some wierd stuff like that. but i suppose you could make it political too.

7. It takes a lot of planning
and organization to arrange an impromptu gathering.
