I had the most delicious Veggie Burger at Red Robin... ask me anything!
Is Red Robin a West Coast chain? They're new to Ohio, but after seeing F911, I stopped in to this burger joint and had the best Veggie Burger I have ever had the pleasure of eating.

Veggie Burger fans... check the place out!!

8. The menu said it was grains, vegetables, and spices.
I had my choice of some wonderful cheeses, and it was served with incredibly fresh lettuce, tomato, and a chipotle salsa sauce.

Deeee-licious!!!

2. The original Red Robin is down the street from me
On Fuhrman Avenue, just south of the University Bridge at Eastlake. It was a college bar/burger place for a long time (decades - my parents went there in college) then became a chain, then became a bigger chain, and they are now owned by someone in Colorado, AFAIK, which seems hardly appropriate for its roots. :hi:

I'm tellin' ya, I'm not crazy about chains, but the burger was just so effin' good.

4. We don't have a Red Robin...
Hi Jen... :) I love veggie burgers and try them everywhere I find them. Was it a burger with veggies or a soy burger trying to be a meat burger? I like the real veggies with soy in a burger myself. I buy them in the market and make them at home. Portobello grills are great too. Hopefully we will get a RR here in NC.

9. It was a pretty grainy burger....
... that's really what I prefer. Veggies too, but more grain, and spicy. The sides were so fresh and delicious... shredded and whole lettuce, tomatoes, raw onion, a chipotle salsa-spread, great choice of cheeses. Excellent grilled flavor.

Just really outstanding, I must say. I swear I could eat another one right now.

They are good, but I only eat their beef burgers.

And do I have to dock you ZombyPoints for using the awful "ask me anything"? :D

On edit - see flamingyouth's post... she tells more details about their Seattle origins.

... "Ask me anything" makes me laugh. The very fact that it's annoying is what endears it to me. }(
