he was saying basically two things.
1. The Republican Party has been taken over by fundamentalist Christians.
2. His dad was a great guy and not like today's Republicans.
I kept thinking -- "that's funny. I thought your dad was the one who brought the fundamentalist Christians into the mainstream of the Republican Party." Seemed to be a disconnect to me.
