Do people in your area actually wear tinfoil hats?

I've met four people since I moved to Texas who actually were wearing tinfoil hats, and for at least two of those people I know for a fact that they were doing it to reflect signals. The other two people seemed like the tinfoil hat type (i.e., they looked relatively normal, didn't have any other scraps on them, and seemed to be going about survivalist or retired-rancher type of activities.

Never noticed this in West Virginia.
