What's the strangest thing you've been told for why you are gay?

I had one really nice African-American woman claim I was possessed by a demon that made me gay and that said demon was also responsible for "gaydar" because the "demons" can sense one another's prescence.

1. I'm not gay

but was once "accused" of being gay by a manager because I stood up for a friend I had gotten a job for in the office (I had known this friend since we were 11 years old).

I guess straight people don't defend their same-sex friends?

Did I report this manager for her inappropriate remarks? Yes I did. And I got her transferred out. 'Nough said.

The RRR's are now saying that to prevent homosexuality, kids should be enocurage to play ball sports.

When I first came out, my mom insisted that I was "that way" because she let me play Little League baseball with the boys when I was a kid. Heh-heh ;-).

Honest! That was the reason a former fundie friend gave me. Somehow I had divulged that information to him, and he regurgitated it back out at me.

I stress "former."
