Cool! DU needs a "bozo list" function!

I was perusing a david bowie fan site, and checked out one of the fori there. This one:

And, lo and behold, at that site users can put others on a "bozo list" AND - when you check on a user's profile - it tells you how many people have bozoed that user.

I think DU should have that!

Could be very helpful, indeed, for people one doesn't appreciate, but doesn't unappreciate them so much that one wants to ignore them. And since the bozo list has no actual function other than to keep track, there's no harm in having it.

1. I like the idea, but I know I may get a bozoed a few times whenever

I present some of my less than left ideas. It is ok though! I can take it! For that matter, we should also have a way to give "props" because i know I would get some of those when I present my left wing ideas. Perhaps the Props to Bozo ratio is what we really need to look at!

4. It's not a list per se, it would just show up in your profile

it would say "X number of people have this user on their bozo list"

And as Lucky Luciano offered, we could also have a "props" list, and then put in the ratio in the profile.

Like "X people have this guy on bozo list, and Y have on prop list, giving a ratio of X:Y"

If you want to give someone props just reply to their post and say "I heartily endorse that post"
