i head over to that part of the web once in a whiLe for a good Laugh. it used to make my red, white and bLue bLood boiL but now i just pity the oLd fooL. do any of you ever read his writings, or better, try to post there? whatever you do, don't caLL him a has-been... he hates that, and his quick retort to that charge is, "a has been? i'm onLy touring the country and pLaying at every county fair and barn auction."

i did just increase my ignorance though by reading this:

- You can’t make somebody learn if they don’t try to or aren’t encouraged to. How can you expect a child to learn in a school surrounded by a no man’s land peopled by punks, pimps and drug dealers who use the justice system like a revolving door, and the A.C.L.U. cries foul every time there is a serious effort to clean it up.

- Aids are spread mainly by a homosexual lifestyle and don’t take my word for it, look it up. The epidemic in the heterosexual community that was predicted never materialized.

- Abortion is murder and no amount of intellectualizing can change that fact. If life doesn’t begin at conception when does it begin?

- Hillary Clinton stands against just about everything I believe in and I wouldn’t vote for her to clean out a subway station in Brooklyn. I think I’ve said enough about Bill in this column for the last several years to let anyone know what I think of him.

- If you don’t believe that the war in Iraq is the war on terror, who are we fighting over there now?

- Real marriage exists only between a man and a woman, and nothing anybody on this earth can do will make it otherwise.

- There are a lot of people who think that the Holy Bible is irrelevant this day and age. I pity you because the Bible will never be irrelevant. Though heaven and earth pass away, God’s word will never pass away

8. I think the key word in the question is...

..."now?" The answer of course is, the Iraqi people. You know, the ones who were going to be so thrilled and happy with us that flowers were to be thrown at out feet, as our pure Aryan stormtroop....oops, I mean soldiers marched through downtown Baghdad. Of course in Charlie's perfect little "black and white", "my country right or wrong", "insert jingoistic catch phrase here" world, indigenous people who are fighting because their culture, home, and everything they grew up with and know about are under attack ARE terrorists. Just another form of the oldest propaganda, assign an awful moniker to your enemy to dehumanize them to everyone, so that it makes killing them easier.

Gee who would have thought it. People that are irate just because we invaded them under false pretenses to steal their oil, are fighting back.

The bible doesnt have anything to do with god, if there is one, or its words. It has to do with US and how we behave. You have forgotten that.
