It's a send up of a local police dept. with the most dysfunctional group of officers you've ever seen! It's a blast!

I have to admit that I am a COPS fan. Reno 911 is a great parady of that show.

9. Reno 911 is the third funniest show on Comedy Central

after the Daily Show and South Park.

I loved the episode where they get a call from a guy whose dog is really sick and they have to put him down, Old Yeller style. I won't ruin the joke in case you haven't seen the episode, but I was laughing so hard I missed the entire next scene.

It is totally inappropriate so I have to sneak it in when the kid isn't in the room.

But the two scenes mentioned--scavenger hunt and the sick dog were just great.

If you like inappropriate humor (and who doesn't) then it is a show for you. Also try the Graham Norton show on Comedy Central, very racy.
