Poll question: I need your honest advice please |
|
I just got a reminder to renew my subscription for the Biden Seminars. I went two years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but last year I opted to give that money to the Howard Dean campaign instead of renewing.
I received an invite again this year and I wasn't going to renew only because I'm a girl of limited finance and I'd rather donate it to a campaign that needs money.
HOWEVER.....
I found out who the guest speaker is this year - it's Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Now I know some you ultra-liberal folks will probably think I'm crazy but I'm not that super far to the left. I adore Hillary and I'm proud to have Joe Biden as my senator although sometimes he pisses me off.
Do I pay the fee (it's over $100) and go or do I stick with my original plan and donate it to campaigns that need it
(Note: I've already donated to John Kerry and a few minor donations for other candidates)

1. When You See Someone You Admire Live |

It's something you'll remember for the rest of your life. I will always remember hearing Noam Chomsky and William Greider live. I will alwayrs remember hearing Miles Davis.
I allowed other duties to get in the way of attending a Howard Dean rally when he was the front-runner. That will never happen again.
If Hillary goes on to become president, you'll remember it even more.
