New free progressive blogging community...

Hey guys: We here at Raw Story -- http://www.rawstory.com -- have created a new FREE blogging service aimed at creating a progressive blogging community.

The idea is to create a network of blogs that communicate and interact with each other. 2. Yes -- and can import

Yeah...we'll add a links page. Give me a week or so and then you can come by and email me...or I'll add a contact page. We've also got a system that allows importing blogs, but I don't know how to use it yet. ;)

3. possibly silly question

but I have a livejournal account which I LOVE. I'd love to have another blog, but couldn't tell by the description on your site whether the blogs could be journal-type entries, or if you just wanted people to post news stories.

I kind of do both, but I like the personal journal-style 'talking to no one not even myself' kind of threads that pop into my head at 2am. :)

It can be used purely for personal blogging if you want, certainly. We're just trying to use the overall system as more of a cohesive blogging community than most others do.
