1. I just finished watching "In Excelsis Deo". Toby is by far my favorite

character. I flatter myself that I'm a lot like him. Gloomy, moody, quixotic, sardonic. Maybe not quite as smart or good at arguing my beliefs.

3. Yeah this is a sad episode

Mrs. Langingham just breaks my heart with that awful story of her sons plus the whole hate crime thing. This show is so well done. Toby did great in this episode too.

5. I just can't get over how good that show is

There isn't a false note in that episode. It shows both the limits and the joys of the power that someone working for the President would have. From Toby being able to get that funeral to Josh and Sam botching the saving of Leo. Great writing, acting, and just plain great.

7. totally agree

they never get an easy break with legislation, it's always tough, time consuming and they even have problems with other democrats and occaisionally get help from republicans!!! It may be too much of a perfect president for some to swallow but it's just so inspiring to watch at times!!!

this years cliff hanger while interesting is a little too much 24ish for me (lthough I do like 24 too)
