I got a letter from Homeland Security |
|
I am trying to locate and obtain copies of my Grandfather's citizenship record (circa 1946) and apparently they don't think it is too important for them to look...
Besides this lame reason, they mentioned fees of all kinds that I would have to pay for them to look.
How hard can this be?
Anyone here have this problem?
I am open to suggestions and appreciate any help given

2. I've done a lot of genealogy but |

nothing with more recent immigration (most of my family was here by 1775).
One of the genealogical resources is Cyndis List. It's a collection of website links. I would look there to see other means of getting your info. Sorry I can't be of more help.
