Damnit, I need a vacation just to catch up on my reading

It's 12:30 and I'm wide awake because I'm enjoying Al Franklin's book soooo much!!! I checked my mail and I had a fresh copy of my Mother Jones and American Prospect magazines plus I haven't even bothered to open my Nation magazine. And I have about 3 other books I've bought and 3 other recent magazine subscriptions I've barely touched.

I need a freaking vacation just to catch up on my reading.

If you haven't bought Al Franken's book - GO FREAKING BUY IT. If you can't afford to buy it, bug your local library to get a copy of it for their collection. Or check to see if another DU member has a copy you can borrow (not me, I don't loan out books or music. But you're welcome to visit me for a few days and I'll not disturb you while you read it).

Read the book - it's incredible!
