Sunday evening is the cut off date. After that you'll have to wait a year to get on the list. If you're SICK and TIRED of telemarketers either call 1-888-382-1222 or register online at
http://www.donotcall.gov. Takes less than a minute.

This has been a public service announcement.

Is the no-call list only for individuals and residences? Can I put our small business on the list? We piddle away a fair amount of time every day answering cold calls.

2. I think so, but check their web site. If you call, you must call from the

phone that will be on the list. So you would call from your work phone. But check to be sure they accept businesses.

I, too, waste time with people trying to sell me stuff I have no interest in and/or need for. We'll see if it works.

3. F'n Fascists made a deal with the corporations, why should we have to

wait a YEAR to get on the list. These people Invade our homes uninvited and harass us. they call back if you hang up on them. they deceive us, I have had them slam bills on my credit card.. and i found out it was my credit card holder that was the telemarketer that did it. 4. Why do they have to have email addresses?

Doesn't make sense to me. To get more privacy you have to give up more private information.

I hadn't gotten around to doing this and after the EIGHTH call in eight evenings from A.T. & T. trying to sell me something (I never stay on the phone long enough to find out) I'm fed up! Jaysus! How many times and/or ways do I have to say "No, I'm not interested!"

8. I Can't vouch for the Fed no-call list

but the one in Pennsylvania has been a godsend. My calls dropped to (essentially) zero. I reported the one company that didn't get the word and then their calls stopped too.

Political campaigns are exempted from the law. You just gave your info to Asscrotch's Injustice Dept.
