Btw, I got married on Wednesday

My hunkmeister and I finally took the plunge after 3 years -- 2-1/2 of them living in sin. Just thought I'd mention it. B-)

I have to say this was one of the funniest weddings I've ever been to. I'd have mentioned it before but we've been a little, uh, busy. ;-)

6. It was a surprise to me too

Originally we were going down to the County Clerk's office just to get the application thinking we had to have blood tests, etc. Consequently, after my shower I threw on a dress I had the day before, slipped on my birkie sandals and headed out the door with my hair soaking wet -- it turned out to be my wedding attire. :eyes:

When we got there the clerk clarified that we didn't need blood tests and asked if we wanted to get married right then. While I was trying to get my head wrapped around this my hunkmeister piped up and said, "Sure!" Totally stunned, I was led back to the clerk's office where we answered questions and were asked if we had brought a witness to which hunkmeister uttered something about the Witness Protection Program and a few other witicisms. He had the clerk and I laughing so hard I barely noticed when they led us into the chapel and, before I knew what hit me, I was saying "I do," he was saying "I do" and wham! Married.

Our wedding feast was held at Hometown Buffet. (It was on the way home.)
