Harley Davidson had their 100th reunion birthday bash last night, and they kept the musical acts secret. 150,000 people, the rumored acts: US, The Rolling Stones, Maybe the Eagles. So like all these people waiting and wondering and guessing and partying and then the party starts and the headlining acts are:

of America. His contemporaries are indeed the likes of the stones and the eagles and the Who, especially considering his contribution to Tommy. His biggest string of hits came in the mid 70's as the hippy days were waning and transmogriphying into the heavy metal of the 80's.

mcgraw and kid rock are the questionable ones, that's for sure.

And whatever you want to label the music that Elton John made with his original band in the early 70's, it was damn good. But not the kind of music I would normally associate with Harleys.
