Braces and their unexpected positive side-effects... |

I was fitted with orthodontic braces in July. Since then, I've lost 10lbs, and I have (not by choice) ceased my chronic nail-biting habit, because I haven't been able to bite them with the braces on!

one of the first actions accomplished was to widen her palate, which had an added benefit of widening her nasal passage. Since then, she has not had a recurrence of the conjunctivitis (pinkeye) which had plagued her throughout her childhood.

When I wore them I still ate what I wanted I was just more careful than usual.
