And no, my ass doesn't hurt.
New shorts totally rock.
And they make my legs look GOOD, too.

3. What'd you ride on?
A trail? A road? Backwoods? We have a sweet trail (the Burke-Guillman) that runs up Lake Washington and into the University (of Washington) District. It's pretty easy to get downtown from there. I love that ride.

8. Back country roads...
Saw 2 Sandhill Cranes and 3 Deer. One of the Deer I had to yell at to get it out of the way...Finished the ride in the dark.

4. On What?
Horse, bicycle or a motorcycle?

I have no doubt that you look good with or without your legs and if your ass isn't sore then you confine your equine acivities to the quarter-horse in front of Wal-Mart.

Shorts on a motorcycle? I don't drive without a helmet, a leather jacket and thick jeans (from painful experience.)

Must be a bicycle then....

Can you send jpg's to GregW so Matcom and I can drool over them?

Unless you're into "Bears". I'm still a Fatbody...:7

And yes, it was my vintage Fuji "Special Road Racer" with the home-made 10W halogen headlight.

Just some friendly competition. :hi:

Don't you just LOVE bicycling shorts!!! I don't know how you were managing in cutoffs. Did you get padded ones?

10. Yeah, "Coolmax" pad from Specialized.
I couldn't handle much more than 13 miles in cut-offs. I tried everything, undies, no undies, boxer briefs, Bag Balm smeared on MY bag, etc....

20 in 1:15...OK, I see who I'm gunning for now...:-)

The outbound took my an hour. Headwind and a slight uphill all the way. Return trip was 55 minutes, and I was taking it easy because my light doesn't reach down the road far enough to go faster than about 15.

6. Good ride!!!
Dirt or Road???

I'm in Indy now, and I miss my old rides in Colorado, Alaska and Minnesota!!! Nothin' here makes me break a sweat. At 46 and a pack a day I can still kick most dirt riders here in FLATLAND!!!

11. After CO, Indy must seem like riding on a table.

They don't have any hills. OK, they have a few, but they're on busy main arteries and not fit for even the most savvy comuter.

Many years ago there were some good dirt rides in Indy, like Breed's Hill and the land along White River and up around Geist Resevoir (it was a resevoir before it was a "lake")but all that land has been taken for McMansions and you can't even drive into those neighbourhoods, must less ride.
I used to play with a small Honda dirt bike on some of those trails 30 years ago.

I'm a road rider now.
