Salvia Divinorum????
There was a write up in the local reptillian rag about this stuff, it sounds like the next thing the control freaks want to outlaw. This being a natural mind altering substance that may let the populace see things clearly. There is a website http://www.sagewisdom.org that goes into detail about this. Apparently it's a mood altering herb that grows in mexico and was used by the shamans.
Has anyone had any experience with divinorum? can you tell us anything about it?. Oh yeah it's legal for the time being.

4. oy - that stuff makes for some nasty smoking
and there is ZERO buzz to it, in my experience. Assuming we're thinking of the same thing. Grows on trees in the Yucatan, looks like dried mushrooms...

I'll take a liter of Herradura over that foul shit anyday.

8. I was comptenplating that very thing
I experimented with a number of legal highs in the past and none of them were very satisfying in the buzz department. I checked the price and for less money I can get some good skunk, so, I think that's what I'm going to do.
But it does have a pretty flower we may grow some just for that.

9. it should not be controlled, this is scary
I'm not interested in consuming this plant, and I've heard conflicting stories about whether it actually does anything or not. What bothers me is that there are dozens, if not hundreds, of Salvia species. I do not need or want the gov't to come into my yard and start hassling me over my Salvia collection. To the best of my knowledge, none of my plants are hallucinogenic, but I do not trust a police officer to accurately identity them, for I myself cannot accurately ID all of them. Salvia ID can be a tricky area. And these are extremely valuable plants for the wildlife garden, as they can be used to feed hummingbirds, butterflies, and more. I do not want someone being able to "round-up" or even put my property in forfeiture because I have some hummingbird plants on the property. It is time to draw the line and find some way to get legislation that forbids the DEA from getting into the business of criminalizing plants. Where will it end? Kids have been making "drugs" from Brugmansia, morning glory, and more. Are we all to be viewed with suspicion because we want beauty in our lives? I understand that in this country it is already considered wrong to want beauty in our minds...but even in our gardens? Sigh.

10. Then they better get rid of Bragmansia (aka Datura) also... since it's
known as the DREAM plant.

Oh wait, it Might already be illegal.

Put the leaves under your pillow, you gently hallucinate.. Lovely flowers. From Mexico.
