Local discussion forum Freeper spanked !

I read the discussion forum on a locally based web page for my community regularly, and there are a few adamant and vocal people of both the Liberal and Conservative persuasion.

The resident Liberal, BobF, consistently bests his conservative opponents using logic, facts, and reason. BobF is always polite and never lets the debate become personal between himself and the Repuke posters, however, during one recent exchange, BobF let himself get very, I'll say "passionate" and really blasted the neo-con fool. I loved his response to a previous post and thought you guys would enjoy it also.

I am not sure, but I believe this person is or was recently a poster here at DU too ! If so, we need to encourage him to join in the fray and share his wisdom and grasp of the current state of country and what is being done to it by this "mis"administration ! I belive he has much to offer and we could learn alot about debating from him.

Don't you love it ! This guy BobF is a constant source of admitration for me. I wish I could form arguments and debate the way he does. I just get tongue tied and lose track of the direction of my argument too easily. :shrug: But I sure do enjoy watching him spank Repukes ! :D It alomost makes me feel "dirty"

inviting BobF to come over to DU. what was I thinking ? :silly: Unfortunately, my experience with most of my co-workers and neighbors is that the vast majority of North Carolinians are mouth breathing Freeper trolls, who base thier entire world view on Faux News, and think Jesse Helms is a god. :(

8. You should read back through

the older threads on the board Gaines. BobF has battled Stinger6 and Ed and a few others for quite some time. Originally he was the only poster who was willing to speak up against the conservative bullshit these people constantly spewed, but recently a few others have joined him and pointed out how he shoots down their arguments with facts. It is encouraging to see, and I am ashamed to admit that I have not joined in to show him my support :(
