mayonnaise or miracle whip?

We bought it when some family was in from out of town and thought they might like some on their sandwiches. What frightens me is the lack of an expiration date on the jar of miracle whip. What the fuck is it made out of if it doesn't go bad after a few years? Heavy axle grease bleached white? :puke:
