Any recent college graduates here that still don't have a job?
I just graduated this spring, and after a summer of looking for a career job in my home state, I'm still working at the sub shop I worked at while in college to pay the rent. The alternative would have been to move back home, though, so it could be worse. Any other college students here stuck with crappy, part-time jobs to make due? Just curious, as misery loves company :-) I know it could be worse, a lot of my friends are in the same position as me, some still totally unemployed. It's just such an embarrassment to see old friends, old professors, my family and have to tell them what I'm doing now. I feel like I've let everyone down even though I've been working hard to find a real job. Thanks for letting me vent.

1. What's your degree in
maybe I can help. Also, where do you live and are you willing to relocate?

3. I know how frustrating it is
Since many experienced people are out of work, it is difficult to get hired since employers can hire someone who already has experience and might be willing to work for no more than you would. What sort of thing are you interested in doing? Have you checked the temp agencies? You might be able to get something better than the sub place. I know though that such a job has an advantage of a full time factory job because it is easier to go to job interviews if you have a more flexible schedule.
