You don't even have to leave your front yard to get any freakier than the CA recall shit. I used to live there (14 yrs), so I know that for the most part, the people there aren't all completely nuts, but, to the massively uninformed, Californians appear to be the most exotic thing on the planet! Just don't vote for Arnold or any other Republican, even put Larry Flint in office (he actually might be a great governor)

So what kind of practical joke could you pull on East Coast people?? I would love to hear your ideas!! Because California is the greatest state in this country (I have been to all but Alaska). You have everything under the sun, from beaches to deserts, to mountains to cities. If you have a decent living situation (which is why I finally went back to Maine with my tail betwixt my legs..) then you are on top of the world.
