"Mildred Pierce" on HBO Signature at 10:15 EST

It's waaaaaay better than the movie. Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie but the book blew my gourd.

2. I heard the book was a lot more gritty and violent

and they cleaned it up for Hollywood.

One of the funniest skits she ever did.

I LOVE that movie...Joan Crawford's comeback movie. The b&W, the clothes, the drama, the lighting. It's perfect.
