My ex-girlfriend was obsessed with him, so I had to learn to be, too. :silly:

He is obviously talented, but my complaint is that his songwriting and lyrics are a little too sticky-sweet -- which, explains why most of the the crowds at his concerts are female. I guess they think he's cute or something, too.

I thought the title "Heavier Things" meant it'd be a heavier sound (more like Stevie Ray Vaughn, his purported biggest influence), but it appears to sound just like his first CD.

Though, to be fair, I've not heard anything but that one tired mediocre track, which shows me nothing but that they can cash in on boy teens as well as girl ones.

Obviously he can play the guitar, sing, and write passable lyrics, but so could Debbie Gibson.
