2. I still have some friends that are associated with the program

and they point to the toughness of Keith Gilbertson as the only thing that can save this pussified program. As recently as the Lambright years the kids that were recruited were promised nothing and were forced to fight for everything and that toughness showed during Marcus Tui's senior season. New Weasel's kids have never had to work for their positions. They were handed them just for coming to the UW.

Don't make me laugh. Remember how Gilby almost suffered a nervous breakdown during his brief but totally-ineffective stint at Cal?

Make as many jibes as you want about Neuheisel, but he literally rescued the Husky program. Remember where it was after Lam(e)bright's tenure? The Dawgs had slipped to the point where it was a great triumph squeeking into the Oahu Bowl, there to get waxed by the likes of Air Force. Lam(e)bright managed to destroy everything Don James had achieved over all his years. Neuheisel turned the program around; unfortunately, with him gone and and Gilby in place, I fully expect the downhill slide to continue...
