She has a political website where she links to info on Patriot Act II, and links to a stencil for a graphic that says "One-termer."

Her upcoming album has a song "Ugly man" about Bush:

2. I didn't even know she was still recording....

I saw her in the 80's in Houston at a concert....She was bombed! I was feeling pretty good myself but I could tell she was really "high."

I didn't care, I enjoyed just seeing her try....I guess I've got to catch up.....Nurses need to get a social life.....

4. she's been making less-commercial records

I've actually lost track of her too, since her songs stopped getting on the radio. The last record I bought was about 10 yrs ago, a great collection of standards "Pop pop" It had a cover of the Jimi Hendrix song "Up from the skies" which was very cool.

It's funny, I've passed up chances to see her perform live because I didn't think she'd be all there. I don't know how I got that impression, maybe she has a reputation for that?
