Favourite Simpsons character
Mine is Mr. Burns. I hate the way they seem to be making him more "down to earth" by associating him with Homer Simpson, like in the episode where he needed Homer's help to get that chick, and where Homer was his prank monkey (awful episode with no resolution). I prefer Burns to be the cold distant Blofeld-like villain of Springfield. I love it when Homer used to always scream when he saw Burns unexpectedly, because after all, Burns owns Homer.

BTW, what's a freeper?

1. Lisa!!!!
I love Lisa! "I'm getting used to never being noticed." She's such a sweetie!

Freeper is what the FreeRepublic people call themselves and we use it in a derogatory sense. Someone give this man the link to the DU Dictionary.

3. Lisa is my Favorite
She reminds me of me ....

A freeper is a person who posts at a website
called free republic . This is what they call
themselves . When they vote in polls they encourage
and teach you how to "freep" a poll by voting multiple
times .

When DUers ask to "unfreep: a poll we do not encourage multiple
voting in fact it is HIGHLY frowned upon as Bad Form here on DU.

Remember that in Sideshow Bob Roberts, he went behind Mr. Burns' back to thwart Sideshow Bob's Republican run as mayor.

9. Classic Mr. Burns...
but Mr. Burns hasn't been half as funny in the later seasons as he was at first. He was at his best when he was witty and was never able to remember Homer even though they kept encountering each other many times

11. Mr. Burns...
So many classic lines. I like him best when he's shocked/overwhelmed by something completely commonplace, or shows his compete detachment from the progress of the 20th/21st centuries:

"I'd like to send this message via aerogram to the Prussian Consulate in Siam. Am I too late for the 11:30 autogyro?"

"You there! Fill my tank with petrolium distillate and don't forget to revulcanize my tires."

"'No More Tears'. A nice sentiment, but beyond the control of a mere shampoo..."

"I am riding on a bus."

"Books and cocoa in the same store?! What's next, a talking banana?...Of course, the very idea of a talking banana is ludicrous...but still..."

"You call this postum?!"

"Look at me, I'm Davey Crockett!"

"Out of my way--I'm a motorist!"

"Ketchup? Catsup? Ketchup? Catsup? Hmm...I'm in over my head."

"No, no. Let's not make mere snowmen, let's make real men...out of snow!"

and, of course, my sig line:

"Oppressiona and harassment are a small price to pay to live in the Land of the Free."

So some pimply little puke can treat you like dirt because you're not on the team. Well, I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt. I mean not that fancy store bought dirt. 36. It's from the Christmas Special with Gary Coleman...
Moe doesn't play any other part in the episode, but he's used as an example of the good people of Springfield being visited by three ghosts/seeing what life would be like had they never been born.

In Moe's case, of course, he becomes suicidal after seeing how much better everything would have been had he never existed, therefore, head in the oven. With a handwritten note scotch-taped to his back, reading just "NO FUNERAL"
