My interview with TF Mou is posted!!!!

This is of course assuming anyone knows who TF Mou is, or even cares... But I had the chance to talk with him over the phone last weekend about his films Man Behind the Sun and Black Sun: The Nanking Massacre.

1. Great! Well-done. People need to know this

Glad to see Japanese folks are renting 731 on video; they certainly aren't reading about it or Nanking in their history books.

The History Channel documentary on 731 translated that Japanese word for the Chinese as "logs" rather than as "wood". If you have a fluent Chinese speaker to check it with do so; otherwise, I'd just stick with T.F. Mou's translation.

Again, splendid job. Kudos and congrats!

FYI Japan Shock released Hei Tei Yang (Man Behind the Sun) as Men Behind the Sun, so we used the incorrect title.

I really involved myself with the background research for the films, so much so I wriggled my way into designing the DVD extras on Black Sun: The Nanking Massacre
