I was expecting spotty dial-up at best, but there's an ADSL line in my room in this B&B I'm renting while I work in Victoria.
No phone, but ADSL. Welcome to the 21st Century!

I live near Nanaimo, so I drove. It's just too far to drive every day for two months (Malahat+full day of work+Malahat=DEATH!). I usually work in Vancouver, which is aaaaall about the floatplanes!
