Six Flags To Unveil Fastest, Tallest Roller Coaster In The World

JACKSON, N.J. -- Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey says it'll open the fastest and tallest roller coaster in the world next year.

The ride is called Kingda Ka. It'll accelerate to 128 miles-per-hour in three and a-half seconds. It'll also rise 456 feet off the ground -- and the company that's making it says it'll make riders feel weightless.

An animated depiction shows the coaster creeping slowly, stopping and then launching forward horizontally before climbing at a 90-degree angle.

The coaster then spirals 270 degrees as it plummets, flattens out and climbs again while shooting over a 129-foot

I'm sorry, but anyone who waits inline for this is stupid. A good rollercoaster should last at least three minutes.
