Size Does Matter

When the two candidates came out on stage, Kerry walked right up to Bush so that they were chest to chest. Good move on his part. Made Bush look like the little rat bastard that he is.

I also noticed that on the split screen (ABC, I think) The heads of the two candidates were level on the screen. But if you looked at the podiums, Bush's was several inches higher than Kerry's. I guess they just wanted to try to make Bush look like Kerry's equal. Waste of time considering that Bush failed miserably.

the podiums themselves were exactly the same height.

for the split screen shots, fox news zoomed in on bush and lined up the tops of their heads so they appears to be equal height.

but of course, to accomplish this, shrub's podium was made to appear higher and shrub's facial features and tics and expressions were larger and exaggerated.
